Dirk Nowitzki collected 31 points and 10 rebounds and Jason Terry added 14 and 10 assists for Dallas, which survived 19 turnovers.Chris Paul had 18 points and seven assists but the Hornets fell, 86-79, to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. Chris Paul: The second-year point guard was averaging nearly 19 points and nine assists going into New Orleans' game Friday night against Minnesota. He's shooting 48 percent for the season. He also has professed the utmost confidence in Peja Stojakovic, who remains one of the league's most dangerous 3-point threats. ... Devin Harris had shot 26-of-47 (55.3 percent) in the five games before Friday's visit to San Antonio. More MavericksWho's not DeSagana Diop: It's a good thing the Mavericks don't pay him to shoot. He's 1-of-10 in the last three games. But it's hard to knock Diop for anything offensive. His defense has been terrific, with 13 blocks in the last five games before Friday. And he had six of his 13 rebounds on the offensive end Tuesday against Washington. ... New Orleans' Rasual Butler is shooting 34 percent for the season, and Jannero Pargo is only slightly better at 36 percent. Injuries Mavericks: Devean George (right knee) is out; D.J. Mbenga (left foot) is doubtful. Hornets: David West (right forearm) is out. Print E-mail this article Forums</div> LinkI can see the Hornets taking this since we played a hard fought game last night against the Spurs. Really hard to put up 2 great back games on two nights in a row. On another note, this is the game Justice will be at. I'll see if I spot you. Matter of fact, you should make a BBW sign. Now that would be pretty funny to see.
I'll be upper level... haha, should be fun. I think this time I'll actually be a little ways out from the ceiling. Last time I could literally touch it. I'll be wearing/holding a red hoodie, if you see me you can yell I guess.I think we can pull this one out, too. But yeah, it's not guarantee. They're a pretty good team this year.I'll be upper level... haha, should be fun. I think this time I'll actually be a little ways out from the ceiling. Last time I could literally touch it. I think Dallas takes this game. I like Harris to be on Chris Paul for defense. Should be a great point guard matchup.
9 in a row baby!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just adding to the record.Hornets not having West and Peja just killed them. I saw this game through Hornets local, my god do those announcers suck. Scoing 35 points in the first was nice. Dirk played good. At one point he was 6-6 shooting. Kinda a boring game. Btw, I expect BJax to be suspended and fined. He nearly hit a ref
Mavs won, Mavs won,Dirk rejected two potential dunks,The Hornets were really horny and sucked,And stunk just like a skunk...in other words, Mavs win in near blowout fashion, but BAD NEWS FOR DIRK NOWITZKIT SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSsssHIS DOUBLEDOUBLE STREAK ENDED :cry2:

It was never really even a game.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LAZY @ Nov 25 2006, 10:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Btw, I expect BJax to be suspended and fined. I thought it would be closer, but of course I thought Peja and West would be playing. It was fun anyway.Edit: That one block by Dirk was sick!Edit2: I was somewhat disappointed by Ager tonight. He was having difficulty finishing on fast breaks... he needed to either pass the ball off to someone more open or slow it down or something. He just wasn't getting things done. Barea played alright.

On two occasions he had a nice fastbreak going, with Barea on his right. Both times he went for his own shot against two defenders, both times got zilch. That was very similar to how Daniels and Howard both played in their first year. Tunnel vision, Howard still has issues but at least can finish. Ager has shown me nothing of being a good finisher yet and only signs of being selfish. All bad points for a young guy that should be deterring to others instead of himself at this stage of his game.

Yeah, I concure that Ager is somewhat of a ballhog on the court. The thing is, I dont think he does it on purpose. He's just wanting to impress Johnson so he can have more minutes. Plus, like every player in the NBA, they used to be the best player on thier team at some point. Whether that be High School, College, Junior High, or D-league. Some players play like they still are even when they aren't. He just needs to find his role and he'll be fine in my opinion.
^Yeah, it's a good thing the Mavs don't have to rely on him...yet.Hopefully playing on a team that routinely looks for the guy with the open shot, but also runs an offense that allows you to get your own shot as well, will help him improve his game some.
