Sweeping the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Lakers in record-setting fashion is certainly an accomplishment worthy of some celebration.

"I'm probably gonna have some pizza tonight and cheat on my diet," Dirk Nowitzki said after the Dallas Mavericks busted out the brooms with a 122-86 win Sunday, setting an NBA record for the largest margin of victory in a four-game sweep finale.

OK, so the Mavs aren't exactly getting swept up in the excitement of their dominant performance to finish off Phil Jackson's days in charge of the Lakers dynasty.

They'll enjoy the rest while watching the Memphis Grizzlies-Oklahoma City Thunder series and waiting for the winner in the Western Conference finals. However, the Mavs don't have any great sense of satisfaction after their historic sweep in the Western Conference semifinals.
