<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Saints | McAllister applauds selection of R. BushSun, 30 Apr 2006 06:49:51 -0700Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints RB Deuce McAllister didn't second-guess the Saints' decision to draft fellow RB Reggie Bush. "I mean, the kid's that good. You've got to take him, regardless of your situation," said McAllister, who signed an eight-year, $50 million deal last summer. "I know it will take a couple touches away from me. But in the long run, it will help my career. I was in a similar situation at Ole Miss, when I split time with Joe Gunn. I'll try to help him as much as I can to make the transition from college." Saints head coach Sean Payton said the Saints will use both of their tailbacks in a similar fashion. Bush and McAllister can keep defenses off balance, opening things up for each other and for the passing game.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nflA lot of guys would have different things to say about this, its good to see that he isn't angry about it and actually wants to help Reggie get better.
I'm sure he's gonna want out when Reggie starts to get the majority of the handoffs... and he will probably make a stink out of it.
I was suprised that the Saints took him when they already had Duece. But McAllister does have a history with injuries. Bush will probably play all over the feild to create mis matches to make big plays. The Saints will be good but I dont see Duece being happy about this.
Very professional of Duece to say the least. The Saints are definitely gonna have a sold running game this year, no doubt.
