<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">FORT MILL, S.C. -- North Carolina shooting guard Rashad McCants strained his left hamstring 45 minutes into an hour workout for the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday morning. It was the third of five workouts McCants has had to cut short while preparing for the NBA Draft. He had stomach problems while working out for Toronto and Orlando. A 6-foot-4 guard who averaged 16 points per game for UNC's 2005 NCAA championship team, McCants said he doesn't think the shortened workouts have hurt his draft stock. "My agent's been telling me great things from the teams I've worked out for," McCants said. "No one questions my ability." Charlotte coach and general manager Bernie Bickerstaff doesn't. "There is no doubt this guy is one of the best offensive players and athletes in the draft," Bickerstaff said. "I think that would be a consensus with everyone. ... We know that he can play." McCants, who may have to cancel a Thursday workout with the Los Angeles Clippers, said he is aware that coming up short on workouts might have people questioning his motivation. He said he's good enough to go higher than where he is projected to go now (No. 12 through No. 17). "I believe so, but with this whole attitude thing in the way, it's kind of hard," he said. Bickerstaff said McCants' ease with the game can be mistaken as a lack of motivation. "He scores, he jumps, he runs with no effort, and that's no fault of his," he said. "He's that good."</div> Source This kid is just killing his draft stock.
Yeah his attitude is horrible and on nbadraft.net one of the articles said julius hodge thought mcants was faking injurys during workouts because he was doing poorly.
