Looks like Keenan McCardell is now a San Diego Super Charger...

I agree w/ BF1 - good for both teams. As was Bryant to the Browns for Morgan.

Tho nothing is a guarentee with draft picks tampa comes out a winner with the mccardell deal. Earlier this year we traded roman oben to the chargers for a 6th rd pick. Then we traded jason whittle to new york for a 5th rd pick. Here's where i think we became a winner in the deal for mccardell. Most teams werent offering draft picks higher then a 5th rd pick for mccardell. When reche caldwell went down, sandiago hit the panic button. They offered us as you all know. A 6th rd pick and a 3rd rd pick, also if mccardell makes the probowl next year we get an additional 5th rd pick for 2006. So tampa gets.

2 sixth rd picks in 2005
2 fifth rd picks in 2005
2 third rd picks in 2005.

We also are headed for one of the league's worst records which could mean a top 5 pick in the first rd.

So all these picks could mean we could get some quality players like a kicker!. For once the bucs did something right and now they are starting to show they are prepared to build for the future. Its exciting cause we havent had alot of draft picks over the last few years. Now we do.

Didnt you and I say this team was too old to win this offseason on this very forum. Did I not say they would put in simms because season would be over quickly. Didnt a certain bucsfan tell us we were wrong and the bucs were going to be great. Well i hereby claim the title of oracle from phillyfreak as my own. Much like him i make enough predictions and one of them was bound to be right.

I can think of a 33 yr old QB residing somewhere to the Southeast that Chucky & Bruce Allen can have.

In fact, Feidler & Ricky W to Tampa for a 3rd in 05 & 06, a conditional 6th in 05 and plenty of bags. Not for beef; rather to clean up Jay's "movements" & all the twinkie wrappers left behind by RW.

FWIW, By "movements" I refer to Beef's post on tips for Feidler.
