How will McCareins impact Moss this season? Will he take away from Moss or will he help draw coverage away from Santana?

Conventional wisdom says that it will take Justin at least 8-10 games to get comfortable in the Jet's offense giving Moss the opportunity to explode again this season. I have a good feeling about McCareins though. And Santana Moss at 5'9" just doesn't seem like a dominant type player. I would guess that now that teams have some game film of him, the magic will be gone...

i like moss out of this matchup..........the reason mccariens did so well is becuz he was out of the defenses sight he had nickle and dime corners on him all his carreer. Moss on the other hand was the jets #1 wr last year

i think moss will have a great season next year, moss was double teamed a lot i mean who else did the jets have that really needed a lot of coverage. Mccariens will help moss and the jets giving pennington a big target

I think Chrebet might have been the 2 that season. As for McCariens going up against nickle corners all is career is laughable. He started last season across from Mason and I know this because McNair was my money league QB last season and I had the NFL ticket. I watched them alot to say the least. He faced starting corners every week.

All I know is that none of the Jets WR's frighten me. Chrebet did have a way of playing large agianst Miami.

Moss has potential to be good.

I may be biased but believe that Surtain, Madison, & Howard or Poole are better than McCariens, Moss, & Chrebet.

and the jets secondary is just so dynamic that neither of these players would dramatically improve that part of the team.
