"(Oden) showed signs at some points in the game where he could be unstoppable if he just keeps working on his game," Spurs forward Antonio McDyess said. "He gets so deep in the post it's like you can't do nothing with him." http://www.columbian.com/article/20091106/SPORTS01/711079959/1001/SPORTS01
Delicious is all I have to say. Repped to get you going and cause I love Oden stories, especialy this sort.
That's what the fuck I'm talkin' about. I can listen to all the McMillan, Rice, MB, et all, praise out there, but it only does so much for me. But when opponents, especially a tough veteran like McDyess has something like that to say, I'll buy it. McD is a tough pro who has been around the block. So I can respect what he says (and get a little bit giddy).
How is that a strong first post????? He quoted somebody else and you give him props? That was probably the worst 1st post on here ever!
Yeah, well... Oden's first pre-season game against the Kings was strong, too. Let's see how he does in a game thread before calling him a once-in-a-generation poster.
It's funny that the only once-in-a-generation posters in the history of western civilization were the Farah Fawcett poster and the Lamborghini Countach poster - and they were both from the same generation...
Excessive/Incessant hyperbole rears it's ugly head does not have the same ring to it. Do not temper with my artistic license, Mister.
