Well. I never thought he was that good anyway, but losing him will make line worse cuz bucs have no one to play the position now. Things are looking bad for a bucs playoff run now.
Im a little late on this thread since its been a while since ive checked this thread. But booger being out when he was having a good year actually didnt hurt our d line. I told ya bears dwayne white our de of the future would be something and he made the transformation for de to dt and has recorded a sack in every game he has started since mcfarland went out. With his speed and tenacity and abiliity to pass rush the qb much compariosons to warren sapp but quicker. Its mean simeon rice has been able to find his game. Tampas defense all year has been our bright spot. WE lost our first 4 games of the year due to having no one on offense with jurevicous,galloway out and a whole new offensive line they never played a down togeither in preseason due to injuries. Not to mention noodle arm brad didnt help us at all. This team defense is quicker and with brian greise coming in and us finally getting healthy and replacing a shitty kicker that cost us some games the last 2 years. We are really capable to make some noise and maybe even a wild card. We control our own dystany and if we dont make it in. Teams better watch out next year. We have alot of draft picks for aprils draft Two 6th rounds picks, two 5th round picks and two 3rd round picks and all our draft picks including our first rd and 2nd rd picks. I know our team will draft a kicker out of ohio st thee best in the country. Our last 2 years we lost some games we dominated on gramiticas foot.. not no more. We will draft a kicker.. and possibly even kuwanka de, who they compare to jevon kearse at 6'8 266 pounds and he runs a 4.5 4o yard dash. Eithier way i may not be a fan of gruden but i do like that him and allen signed players to short deals so we could fix our cap problems. This draft could be a killer for us.. one way or another we will draft some great players with all our picks. Look out for dwayne white,will allen marquese cooper we really like these kids for our future.
Dwayne White has played OK, not like sapp in his prime, just OK. The defense has played great, mostly cuz of brooks, smith, and rice. The offense is starting to come around, but so is grieses int problem so we will see.
I dont think griese is a long term solution to tampa's future. However gruden can make a shitty qb play decent based on his track record. I think the key to our team will be around what we can do with the draft. As a fan i pray we can get some good players on april. Most important we most not lose monte kiffin to a head coaching job. We lose him .. we are finished.
Pack nope im not a beleiver in simms. I think we need to have a true qb a superstar qb like other teams. Someone tampa can build the franchise around. Im curious as to what we can do, whether we pittman is our solution to being our starting rb next year or whether we go after a henry,alexander,james or even possibly draft rb. I myself unless dont see a stud qb in the draft after leinart and rodgers.
