Kobe Bryant were today named the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Feb. 17 through Sunday, Feb. 23. McGrady led the Magic to a 3-0 record while averaging 40.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game. Bryant, who has scored 40 points or more in the last nine games, led the Lakers to a 4-0 record while averaging a league-high 43.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.25 steals and 1.25 blocks per game. Feb. 18 vs. Houston -- Had 52 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in a 106-99 (2OT) win over the Rockets. Feb. 21 vs. Chicago -- Recorded a career-high 52 points in only 33 minutes while adding five rebounds, three asssits and three steals in a 110-96 win over the Bulls. Feb. 19 at Utah -- Recorded 40 points and six rebounds as the Lakers defeated the Jazz 93-87. Feb. 23 at New Jersey -- Recorded a triple-double with 46 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists in a 113-105 win over the Nets. Feb. 21 vs. Portland -- Tallied 40 points, seven rebounds, five steals and two blocks in a 92-84 decision over the Trail Blazers.
