<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">It's hard to tell by his play lately -- he has averaged 33.3 points per game in January -- but Orlando Magic guard Tracy McGrady still feels it in his shot. So do Elton Brand, Allen Iverson and Vince Carter. Not to mention Jermaine O'Neal and Jason Kidd. They all feel it today. At least they think they do. Individually, hardly anyone notices. Collectively, it's alarming. Serious summertime basketball -- playing for the USA Senior National Team in pursuit of an Olympic gold medal -- may have contributed to some first-half struggles and a rash of early season injuries during the NBA season. "I don't like to make excuses, but I really think it has affected my game this season," McGrady said. "I just don't feel the same on the court. I've never shot this poorly before. I think it [playing for Team USA] has taken its toll for a lot of the guys. Look around the league." Of the 12 players on the roster of Team USA last summer, which played 10 games at an Olympic qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico, 10 players have missed at least one game already this NBA season because of injury or illness.</div> Full Story Other injured players
T-Mac saying something again ! .. I can't see the affect in TD's game, nor Brand's, nor Vince's , Bibby, Kidd, and Ray Allen. Vince played in the olympics in 2000 .. and led the USA team in scoring .. and in less than a month he started his NBA season .. he was healthy and had his best season so far ! .. I don't think it has a much affect as T-Mac makes to .... ! .. When will he stop making execuses ?
Probably never. I agree, if you keep complaining about injuries, rest. That's all you have to do, stop making up excuses.
