Sergio is very talented, but he's extremely turnover prone, and I feel thats his main weakness, if he fixes that I believe he could live up to the hype of being a top 5 pick

Sergio is very talented but may I say what does it matter if T-Mac is impressed? If he wants him on the Rockets, the GM has to be impressed. T-Mac did this with Damon Stoudamire too and I would not think McGrady has any sort of say in the signing of him. As for Rodriguez, I would say the latest he can go in this years draft would be the lottery. All depending on who is in the lottery, wheater they need a point guard and what not. There are too many possiblites to figure out where a player is going to go in the draft at this point, but based on talent he can go from 2-10.

so basically what your saying is that the superstar/franchise player on a t eam has no say on who is hired and fired.......yeah right!

if you believe that then you better come back when your not so naive

Michael jordan hand picked phil jackson to coach the bulls

Patrick ewing rubberstamped the deal for anthony mason when he was with the knicks

Allen iverson sent tim thomas packing circa 98

    the list goes on

PPPS......no-one mentioned the draft and trying to pick where people are going is STUPID !,u dont even know who`s IN the draft let alone where they might go

look at the jbb 2006-2007 draft thread......its just 2 guys copying names from nbadraft.net....they probly could`nt tell u 1 fact about any non US player........completely pointless just like your comments

I am not saying the T-Mac doesn't have any say but I am saying that he shouldn't have a say in who the Rockets draft. A player's job is to play the game and a GM's job is to put the players on the floor with them. Tracy should focus more on playing the game itself rather then talking to the GM about who to pick and maybe the Rockets will be considered seroius contenders.

As for your comment about JBB copying names from NBADraft.net. There are tons of video's all over the internet, and so many scouting reports out there that I bet both of those members can tell you a ton about every non-born USA player. They definitely do their research on that stuff, and don't just copy names from NBADraft.net.

What the hell are you talking about? First of all, the draft positions of the players in our mock in no way resemble nbadraft.net's. Second of all, we have players listed that nbadraft.net doesn't even have profiles on. Third of all, if we didn't have any knowledge of non-US players, then why would our #1 player be from Benetton Treviso? Lastly, if you want to ask us about our picks, that's what the damn thread is for. Don't talk trash about any of our picks OUTSIDE of the thread, when you have the option of asking about it INSIDE of the thread.

And C.K. is dead right about this issue anyway. McGrady is not the General Manager. In fact, he's very tradable. Not only is it doubtful that the Rockets get a high enough pick to select Rodriguez, but it's also doubtful that if they did, they'd draft him soley on McGrady's impretions. Basically, the fact that McGrady likes Rodriguez means absolutely nothing.
