I unstuck this thread. Allnet probably accidentily made this a sticky when posting it. Tracy is finally putting up the type of numbers that we all expect from him. Tracy complained earlier on how he needed to be more aggressive and not shy away from shooting. He certainly has lived up to this so far. I dont think he wil be able to keep up the hot streak though for the rest of the game. It is good to see him back to his usual form though.
I don't remember putting this topic as a sticky..If I did..my bad Mcgrady finished with 36..didn't score in the 4th quarter which cost his team.
TMac had a hella good game. 14/26, 36 pts, 5 boards, 7 assts. Too bad his team lost. 107-97. It's not as bad as it looks in my opinion though cause TMac finally woke up and had a good game. But, only Juwan Howard and Drew Gooden stepped up and helped him. They chipped in with 14 apiece. This team is eventually gonna have to break outta this slump. They have a lot of talent and just need to start playing some better defense. The places finally started to fall in place tonight offensively as they shot a descent and respectable 45% from the floor. But, free throw differential was the game. 42 attempts for Memphis, 27 for Orlando.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Air Canada:</div><div class="quote_post">his team lost so .. forget it !</div> What his team did has nothing to do with this...It is about what Mcgrady did himself. It's ok for you to go mad when Vince plays great but when T-mac plays great it's "his team lost so it doesn't matter?"

Leaders ain't like that ! .. Greatness ain't like that !
well...he just lost some steam...it's bound to happen in a game when you don't have a solid back up...i mean, you can't expect a player to score 48 minutes don't you? what the team needs is a solid back up when TMac is not scoring...although i must admit TMac should've tried harder in the 4th knowing that he has no one else...
Magic are still missing Giricek who is a good back-up guard... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm mad at T-Mac cause he didn't score a point in the fourth Quorter when the team needed him the most ... I thought it might be because he left Toronto...Thats why every other Raptors fan who hates him reason is. You know how important it is to have the T-mac of last year scoring and exciting the crowds? It is VERY important...Lets face it without Kobe and T-mac this league is not exciting or very good at all I have critised T-mac all off-season as the people who have been around the whole summer will know. However seeing this guy play and do what he does best is just amazing.Thats why we (the league) need this guy playing at a high level.
I dont know if anyone noticed(cares), but this is the same record as their preseason record. Just wanted to point it out
Also, another thing that you guys might have noticed. Remember that nice little comment he made about it feeling good now that he was out of the 1st round. Well, since than, in games that mean anything, they've won game. I do believe that they're 1-9 since since his comment.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">1-10 i think (they were up 3-1, werent they?)</div> hitting a man when he's down... As if this start isn't bad enough, there's that playoff collapse to cheer up Magic fans everywhere. Thanks Obie Doc's got 5 games. I think he needs to avoid getting blown out in any of em and have the team win at least 2 for him to keep his job.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">1-10 i think (they were up 3-1, werent they?)</div> Yea, that's right. I said 1-9 cause I wasn't sure exacly how many games they'd played this year. I thought it was 7. But, yea, it's 8. So, 1-10 would be correct. Damn, talk about a bad stretch dating back to last year. I think they'll turn it around here soon though. They have so much talent on that team. McGrady looked like he finally found the touch the other night, Howard isn't playing horrible and Gooden is doing pretty good also. They just need role players like Tyronne Lue to step up and be consistent. Also, I noticed in the box score that Keith Bogans had played 31 minutes. I think that kinda tells me that Doc Rivers is losing confidence in Lue. Not completely sure on that, but, yea.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Moo2K4:</div><div class="quote_post"> I think that kinda tells me that Doc Rivers is losing confidence in Lue. Keith was the only guy in a Magic uni who played with any heart in the second half. Hustling for balls and the like. He earned his minutes big time. I don't feel that it is a reflection on Lue at all. Could very well be, I just don't think so.

I was just kinda stating that cause of all the minutes he played. I really don't know.
