McGraw hits a triple: Reports on denial of "special privileges" but does not retract

Mike McGraw has posted a fascinating follow up to his "special privileges" story. I could tack this on to the previous thread but I've never seen anything like it and think the story deserves its just due.

Then came a comment from a reader:

    McGraw's responses to the comment:

Way to fucking stick to your guns, Mike. I don't think context matters: this is the biggest Bulls story since Paxson getting in fist fight with VDN. Reinsdorf isn't cheap, and builds teams to compete, but he still has a reputation of not being a players owner. This is why. You don't go in to a meeting with the best basketball player in the world and tell his representatives who are also in the meeting that their access will be limited. That may work fine in baseball but not in basketball.

The only reason I say McGraw hit a triple and not a home run is because I want to see a follow up on the statements, the denial, and reactions. This is the management for better and worse and it's a story that needs to be told.
