<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MINNEAPOLIS - Kevin McHale has been busy trying to deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves' precipitous fall from grace, but the Celtics Hall of Famer still keeps tabs on his old team and his old friend. And McHale, the Timberwolves' general manager, likes what Danny Ainge has done to transform the Celtics.

``They've got some really good young guys,'' McHale said yesterday. ``I think their future is very bright. The thing is, people there have to have patience. Al Jefferson is going to be a hell of a player. I like Delonte West. I think he's going to be a very good overall basketball player. I think Tony Allen's a very good attack guy if you're running. I think Marcus Banks is going to be a very good player, too, in a running game. It becomes a matter of choosing how you want to play and then giving your guys time to let them evolve. Marcus Banks has to understand that there is a halfcourt offense, too, but that takes time. That doesn't happen overnight.

``Ideally, for Danny's sake, I hope they get to the point where Al Jefferson is a legitimate low post threat and you can play off the guy. Then a lot of the other guys they've got will be able to do things. But people have to be allowed to develop, and I hope people there are giving Danny the time he needs. You know, guys are a lot better players at 24 than they are at 19.'' </div> Source
