<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Minnesota VP Kevin McHale apparently isn't adjusting very well to the post-Garnett era. After the Timberwolves gave up 111 points in a loss to Golden State last week, McHale stormed into his locker room and tore into the players, something not a lot of executives would do. Said one player, after McHale exited: "What's he so upset about? It's not like we have a lot of talent."</div> http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/columnis...dex.html?page=1 I think this is kind of funny because he is complaining about the players he has on his roster, well, it's his own fault he decided to help the Celtics in the first place, isn't it? You don't have to be a genius to figure out that receiving a bunch of "potential" young players in exchange for an MVP candidate will make your team worse. I don't know why he is so upset, he has nobody to blame but himself. Maybe if he actually surrounded Garnett with some talent in the first place, he could've won a championship already...
Maybe he was upset about Charles Barkley naming him the Executive of the Year. LOL. I'm not sure what McHale's expectations were after he traded KG. The team wasn't winning with KG, how can he expect them to compete without him? I have no idea how McHale or Isiah have managed to last this long.
This is coming from the NY Daily News and Mitch Lawrence, so I take it with a huge grain of salt. I agree that McHale is an idiot, but if I were to bet on this, I would bet that he was ripping their effort.
