<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nets fined Jeff McInnis $20,000 for violating the NBA?s uniform policy, multiple league sources said.
In the preseason, each Net was told of the new NBA dress and uniform policies, which requires players? shorts to be above the knees. The 6-foot-4 McInnis? wears long shorts but pulls them up and flips over the waist.
The NBA warned the Nets on more than one occasion about the length of McInnis? shorts, a source said. The league finally issued the Nets? a fine believed to be $10,000. The Nets subsequently hit McInnis in his wallet.
It is unknown if McInnis will appeal the fine. Calls to his agent weren?t returned.</div>

Wow his shorts weren't even low. They were just about one inch over his knee.
