<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Portland Trail Blazers may not be done luring new coaches from their Northwest Division rival in Seattle. Blazers coach Nate McMillan, in an ESPN.com on-line chat Tuesday, specifically mentioned two of his former SuperSonics assistants -- Dean Demopoulos and Bob Weiss -- while discussing the qualities for which he'll be looking in coaches as he builds his Blazers staff. "I'm looking for guys that would be committed to improving this team," McMillan said in the chat. "My former assistants Dean Demopoulos and Bob Weiss come to mind." Weiss said he has discussed with McMillan the possibility of coming to Portland as an assistant, but will first pursue the head coaching position in Seattle, where he has worked as an assistant for 11 years. "I think we're going to let the dust settle up here before we talk again," Weiss said. A spokesman at the SuperSonics' training center said Demopoulos was out of the office Tuesday. A message seeking comment was not returned. </div> Source
Demopolous is going to Minnesota, and if Weiss doesn't get the head coach job why SHOULD he stay? Don't waste your energy. There is nothing negative going on here.
