McNair was sidelined with a groin injury in Sunday's 20-13 win over the New York Jets.

Pryce had surgery last night and is expected to be out at least three weeks. He will be replaced by Dwan Edwards.

    This bodes well for Arizona.

Boller clearly outplayed Mcnair. Even when you compare it to last season. Boller is the better QB

I don't think so. McNair isstill better. He went 20-34 for 203 yrds. Bengals got flukely turnovers and Ravens had a chance to win. Not all of McNair's fault when OL didn't block or players get stripped of the ball or drop passes that count as INTs towards the QB. Plus, Billick's play calling wasn'tvery good. Didn't take the pressure of McNair either. McGahee or Smith should've gotten it more.

Oh, andlook what happens whenthe Bengalsdon't get those turnovers. They lose to the Browns.

both fumbles clearly mcnairs fault. he was too slow to run stretch play cuz his wheelchair was getting stuck in the mud (HE IS OLD) and the other one the ball slipped from his hands. Boller played with same WR and same OL, so it is BS to blame supporting cast as the reason, when the have the SAME supporting cast. FYI Boller's one int was a bullet for the tie vs cincy that heap tipped to a defender or the ravens might well be 2-0. If he started probably wouldnt have needed last second play to win.Boller will be starter by end of the year, and this year ravens will have real shot at super bowl.

I've always been a huge fan of McNair, but he is shot.

    The Ravens should start Boller.

McNair can come in and win you one or two big games, but he just cannot be an NFL starter at this point.

I've said it last week, the team is in a better position if Boller starts. He's clearly done better as a backup and McNair is still "iffy" and we all know he doesn't show composure that Boller has shown during the Jets game. And most importantly, he hasn't turned the ball over (except for the tipped INT)unlike McNair (3 times!). But unless he reverts back into his old self then throw in McNair. BTW BF1, I've noticed you picked up Boller in the fantasy league. LOL, you beat me to it.

I think McNair starting is much better for the Ravens. He manages the game better and due to his injury will have to check down more, because he will need to get rid of the ball, not to mention the injury could effect his power to deliever the ball downfield. Regardless of who starts, the Ravens should give McGahee 25-30 touches in this one to take the pressure off the defense to make a stop or even a score. If they keep pounding with McGahee I think the Cards will give up a few deep balls via playaction.

Im not sure what Arizona will do on offense, but they wont be able to lean one way or another. I think you are going to see most of the Arizona playbook/formations in this one to keep the Ravens D on their heels.

No thanks BF1, I'm fine with my 4 QBs on my roster.

And about the comment about the deep ball. Demetrius Williams is a fine athlete but he has problems with drop passes especially against the Jets last week. Derrick Mason is getting back into the spotlight with Clayton being limited with injuries. About the Cards O, I think they may sneak in a passing TD because the secondary isn't quite there yet in terms of coverage but the front 7 will be fine against their line and Edge. It's a shame he's on my fantasy team and I don't have any suitable replacement this week...

Problems last week were tackling for the secondary in the 4th qrter. Rolle and Reed in particular who both gave up those plays to Cotchery. Rolle will always be a weakness though in terms of coverage. I really wish we would've gone after someone in the offseason and move Rolle as a Nickel guy.

As for Boller. I lost my confidence and/or patience in him 2-3 yrs he did play. As for blaming the supporting cast. I said it's not all of McNair's fault, not just the supporting casts fault. That doesn't mean I don't blame McNair. And yes, they have the same supporting cast, but as I said, some were flukely plays. They're not gonna happen all the time.. If McNair does what he did again or close to it in more than one game, then sure, I agreeweshould make the move.

I alsodon't wanna let Billick off the hook for some stupid play calling in that game against the Bengals in certain situations.
