Boller is probably done in Baltimore i would think and he'll get another shot with a different team
McNair has 2 game winning drives this season. Boller could never of done that. Boller isn't clutch and he struggles most of the time. Even his deep ball is worthless if he's not playing the Packers. McNair is a better leader which every Raven has said and he's just a better player. Without McNair Baltimore loses to San Diego and Cleveland right now.

Yes McNair played bad against Denver but I doubt Boller plays any better. Without McNair the Ravens are 2-3 right now losing to the Chargers and Browns. With him they beat those 2 teams. McNair doesn't have to put up the huge numbers and he really never has in his career outside of one year. He needs to manage the game and that's what he's doing. Boller never even showed signs of being able to do that. Grossman was also hurt most of the time. Most in Chicago have said they new he could do this. Urlacher said on the Jim Rome sure Friday that everyone new Grossman is capable of this. Injuries held him back. With Boller in Baltimore it's completely opposite. His teammates don't feel safe with him running the helm. They do with McNair.

They will pay price as season progresses and they still only putting up 200 yards a game and everyone realizes they arent legit.

Curious. He was good in college but that's it. He's struggled in the NFL. He lost the confidence in his teammates. When I compare a situation like Grossman and Boller that's what stands out to me. Grossman has always been the Bears guy. Everyone had confidence in him. Baltimore lost confidence in Boller and that's why they got McNair. I can't see Boller leading a game winning drive in back to back weeks. McNair is an MVP and he did just that. Also keep in mind all McNair has to do is manage the game. They had a debate on ESPN Radio if you were Baltimore who would you want McNair or Favre? Favre is probably the better QB but you'll live and die with him. Where as McNair is the type of the guy that won't lose you the game. He'll manage the clock and let your defense do the talking. That's why McNair is a success with the Ravens right now and that's why he will be in the future as well.

Beating denver and ravens being undefeated, and being talked about like bears. When i saw him play, he can make the throws, but looked like he just hadnt gotten speed of game, it was happening at end of last year, but the went the dumb route and got mcnair, who while he was handed(undeservingly) half of mannings MVP he certainly isnt. He is a good QB, who is now too far past prime from injuries to lead a team to the ultimate goal.

Green Bay was awful last year and this year. Kitna put up huge numbers on them and looked like an MVP. I would assume Joey Harrington has a pretty good day a week from Sunday as well against the Pack. It's inevitable with the way their playing. Minnesota also went into the last game knowing their coach was going to get fired and it was meaningless. So those two little sparks at the end of the season is hardly enough to make me think Boller will be good in Baltimore or even elsewhere. We'll end up seeing though. He is young and does have the arm to do so. I would imagine he get's a shot somewhere. Where though I'm not sure. Maybe Cleveland if Fyre struggles. Oakland maybe? Minnesota perhaps when Johnson retires. For this year though I think they made the right move with McNair. He's more experience and more proven for a team that can win. Even if the Ravens beat the Broncos on Monday, I still don't know if they're talked up like the Bears. Ravens have had some close games and well I don't have to remind you how dominate the Bears have been this year. :reallysick:
What's up with the McNair bashing? Think about this, he has a thing that Boller doesn't have, a key player status. Someone who is reliable, not Boller. In fact, none of the QBs that have played for Baltimore since Trent Dilfer, and I'm still wondering about him also. I remember when we first acquired McNair; him alone gave us 2-3 wins guarenteed. Why? The clutch factor. He has already given us two with the games at Cleveland and against San Diego, which was a great week for me. And think about this, how long has he been with the team compared to other new starting QB's? I'd still think that it's better to be 4-1 rather than 1-4. And don't blame McNair. He is doing what he is supposed to do, picking up the slack from the running game. Anyways, I'm hearing news that the Ravens will have a three back system. Odd huh? But whatever happens, I'm hoping it puts the load off McNair. And how many weeks are we in so far, 6? And as the weeks go by, McNair will only improve, right? And the last time I checked, the Ravens are first in the AFC North? Shocking, isn't it? Since Cincinnati is having problems stopping the run and Roethlisberger doesn't seem to have it together, the Ravens have nothing to worry about. Just as long as the defense is playing like it is and the offense starts scoring some points. ENOUGH SAID! My prediction on the Panthers/Ravens game. Baltimore 16 Carolina 13 Close game but the offense does the 4th quarter magic again. Steve Smith leaves the game with a hamstring injury, LOL, just kidding.
Why would Mcnair improve? He will get worse as season continues. He will start to get beat up. then you will really be desparate, but since you didnt give playing time to a bright future you are only going to have a gloomy one. I wouldnt be surprised to see huge losing streak at end of the season.

If Billick can win another Super Bowl or at least go far in the playoffs it should buy him more time in Baltimore and he should be there much longer. If Baltimore were to struggle this year and it could very well happen he'd likely get the boot. So I think picking up McNair was an all or nothing move. There not a very young team either. Mason is rather old and obviously Ray Lewis. Most of their guys are getting up there and they've waited long enough for Boller. Now with McNair they at least have a QB who won't lose you a game. Sure he'll have his moments. All QB's do every year. Even Manning, Palmer, and Brady do. Right now though McNair is this teams best hope at sucess and I think that's what they want. Whether they get it or not is yet to be seen but we can all agree unlike the NFC, the AFC is a wide open race.
