Carmelo has all the qualities to do it. He is a happy spirited kid with a smile always on his face. I'd pay to watch it.
Did you guys know that Allen Iverson was Spike Lee's first choice to do He Got Game, but Iverson turned it down. You know why? and this is a quote "man, i didn't wanna be tied down to working, that was the first summer of my life i actually had money to have fun with." I read that in Iverson's biography "Only The Strong Survive", definitely recommend it to anyone that's anytype of basketball fan, it's really good. It also tells of one time when him and Ray allen were doing a tournament thing and they were roomates, he socked allen in the face. lol It's a great book.
I'd go see it... I gotta check out that book... lol he socked Ray Allen in the face, did Ray do anythin back? lol These young kids makin more money that people do their whole life lol
I don't think because he's a good basket ball player that he'll be a good actor. It's like saying that he can now rap because he has the ability to shoot the ball. Ray Allen's performance was hella bad and I don't know how successful this will be. But you never know he might turn out to be a good actor. Time can only tell.
Ray Allen's acting sucks. It's as simple as that. If it isn't about basketball, I doubt it if we could've watched it. Carmelo?hhhmmm. He seems to have this personality that will make him an ok actor.

Yet Shaq was also in soap operas. I was dieing laughing. His acting isnt half bad, but half hillarious. -Other players like Olowokandi, Darius Miles, and Q Rich were in Van Wilder. Darius Miles is also going to be in this new movie coming out in theaters dealing with college students.
