<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Melo, Camby take teammates to taskNuggets standouts Carmelo Anthony and Marcus Camby are expected to be in Denver for a long time. And they want teammates who want to wear a Nuggets uniform. Anthony and Camby ripped into teammates after the Game 5 loss to the Clippers on Monday night, saying there were Nuggets who didn't want to be in Denver and management needs to make changes. Anthony and Camby didn't mention names. The Nuggets will have five free agents - Reggie Evans, Nene, Howard Eisley, DerMarr Johnson, and Francisco Elson - along with Greg Buckner, who said he would opt out of his contract for next season. The Nuggets also have suspended forward Kenyon Martin, who has five years and more than $71 million remaining on his contract and might be on the trading block. "It was obvious guys didn't want to be here," Camby said. "Guys are pouting and frustrated with one another. Arguing with Coach. And all that stuff is not necessary. We need to bring guys in that want to be committed to winning and playing and doing things the right way. "Guys got to hold themselves accountable. Management is going to have to do something this summer to bring in the right guys who want to do things the right way." Said Anthony: "We got to go sit down. If me and Marcus have to sit down, we'll sit down with (coach) George (Karl) or (general manager) Kiki (Vandeweghe) or whoever it may be. We got to figure something out because we are going to be here. We want people that want to play. I'm more mad that we lost than anything right now. ... "I saw that before the game guys who didn't want to be here. Guys that said they wanted to be here but didn't really want to play this game." Said Camby, when asked why he was saying something now, and not during the season: "You asked me to sum up the season. I'm being honest. That's all I can be. That's pretty much the way it is. We got some guys who want to be here. And some guys who don't." The biggest issue the Nuggets faced during the playoffs was Martin's suspension. Anthony acknowledged it divided the team. "The decision was made. I would have said let him play, but I didn't have nothing to do with that." Anthony is now winless in three years in the playoffs. "This hurts. The first season, my rookie season, we were just happy to be in the playoffs. Last season, no one expected us to win a game against San Antonio. "This is a playoff (series) where people actually thought we had a chance. I think we let ourselves down and didn't play the way we normally play. "They stuck to their game plan." That game plan was to double- and at times triple-team Anthony. "They had a simple game plan to stop me and let everybody else beat us," Anthony said. "This is the playoffs. I don't think we even played playoff basketball. We were out there losing by 20, 25 points like it was preseason." As for learning how to beat the double team, Anthony said, "I've just got to look at it over this summer, see what they did to stop me. They just said that if they're going to stop me they don't care about what my teammates do out there. That's the only way I could take it, as a sign of respect." Anthony said the disappointment of another early playoff exit only serves to make him work harder. "Last year motivated me. This year motivated me. And I'm going to keep working and try to get better. Try to get this team better." Nene a wanted man Anthony said he hopes the team re-signs Nene this summer to add bulk on the frontline. Nene will be a restricted free agent. The forward/center played only one game this season because of a torn right ACL suffered in the season opener in San Antonio. "We are really missing Nene down there (in the post)," Anthony said before the team's shootaround for Game 5. "We've got to sign him." Nene smiled widely when he heard that endorsement from Anthony. And while Nene said his agent and Nuggets management ultimately will make that decision, the player wants to return to Denver. Nene said he is 60 percent recovered from knee surgery but is uncertain when he can play again.</div> Link There it is.
