"I've never played with someone who lifted his team on the court with his play and as a leader. He genuinely cares for his teammates. What he's been able to do is amazing.     You know I have never been a Melo fan but his attitude, play and his words since he's been a Blazer has made me one.

    I hope he gets a ring and I hope it's with the Blazers.

    I'm all in on the Melo card...I hope he retires here and buys a winery along with being a part ownership of the franchise...what is great about this season is the NBA is waking up to the fact that Portland is a place guys will want to play...no drama...players coach..great fans..I think Melo primes the pump for free agents to want to play with Dame

    course "mister big shot" is a deserving candidate, but, he rarely was the exclusive focus of his opponents defensive game plan for the entire game. Dame is and still makes that shot.

    Hard to say but Karl’s remarks are about Billup’s time in Denver under Karl on teams that featured Melo on offense. Those teams were never close to the defensive teams Billup’s played on in Detroit

    Karl must want attention or just cannot admit he is wrong. Lillard makes every single team Billups played on better. Not even close.

    How many teams did Billups play for? Did he get a second contract with any of them? Never been a doubt paying Dame his money.
