Former PRIDE and K-1 star Melvin "No Mercy" Manhoef has reportedly signed with the UFC and will fight at 170-lbs. Manhoef had two fights with Strikeforce, both losses, in 2010-11. His first fight was an epic albeit short brawl with Robbie Lawler that ended with a wounded Lawler knocking Manhoef out. The second was a first round rear naked choke loss to Tim Kennedy. Manhoef's MMA resume (27-9-1-1) includes knockout wins over Denis Kang, Kazuo Misaki, Mark Hunt, Saku, and Cyborg Santos. Manhoef also has 37 pro kickboxing victories.
