Sounds like Bobcats could have a deal with Ely in the upcoming week. Rumor is serious discussions with Warriors, supposed deal is Melvin Ely for Devin Brown/Zarko Cabarkapa/Chris Taft/2 2nd rounders. Cats have 15 under contract already, so sounds like there will be quite a bit of battles in training camp for Cats. Devin Brown and Taft have the best shot.
this would be a pretty good pickup for the warriors, but who will be their backup pg when davis is out? will bynum? that just won't cut it.

oh. well, bynum was the first guy that came to mind bc I remember he played on their summer league team. but I honestly don't think that monta ellis and Keith Mcleod could hold up for a playoff team at pg.
Monta Ellis has great potential to be a starter in this league. Also, Keith started for the Jazz for almost half of the season last year(mostly because of Sloan not playing Deron). Those are decent backup pgs.
