Heh, yes. Remember last time we played them, Mike Miller EXPLODED on the Warriors -- he went 9-17 from three, had 45 points, and almost single-handedly won the game. Gasol also had 22 pts and 14 reb. GS won by only three points, in overtime.

In this league. NO TEAM is a sure win. I'd be extremely concerned, simply because the Warriors play the Griz, Rockets, Griz, then Spurs, and they MUST HAVE the two vs. the Griz.

    Warriors better come out aggressive.

Then I guess we need Baron to be at 80% health have another great game + Jrich to be on like he was the last game.

We can't be shooting 20% on threes either and Jrich will definitely have to be a rebounder, because Harrington just sucks at everything besides scoring at PF.

Sjax also got double digit assists so he'll need to be on that night as well (I think).

You guys better not lose this game. Fighting for your playoff hopes against a team who was watching Greg Oden tonight.

The lottery position is one reason I don't think they'll risk playing Mike Miller for the rest of the season. He's got problems in both knees. What's the point in playing him? To help the Grizzlies win a few extra games?

Obvious observation of the night: Clippers are looking impressive. They actually win road games against teams they should beat.

I guess neither Miller nor the grizzlies care about your fantasy team.

How many times this season have we lost to a team with its star player or top two or three players out? It seems like a lot, and we know the Warriors are quite capable of playing down to their competition no matter how bad or beat up they are. I'd be more worried about it if they were on the road, but I simply can never feel too comfortable with this team. What random, obscure, benchwarming, fringe D-leaguer will be the next to have a career night vs. the Warriors?

EDIT: NO/OKC already won tonight and the Clips are all over Portland. I think that means the Warriors will be a full two games behind the Clips and only one game up on NO/OKC...still hanging on by a thread...

Best chance now is to hope Denver collapses. A lot of road games against playoff teams and back-to-back games for them.

The tough part is that the W's are 3 games back of both teams, since Denver and the Clips hold the tiebreakers over them.

It definitely is nervous time... oh man... it'll be a wasted season IMO if we don't make the playoffs and we get the bottom half of the lottery in a draft deep with talent (maybe similar to 2003 draft).

I feel like we keep going into bad lotteries when we own at least a top 5 draft pick and we're not tanking enough when we're about to head into a deep draft. I wish we tanked if we don't make the playoffs... we could basically be like the Spurs. Go from nothing to something in one season. I want my franchise guy! [IMG]

Note that this game is at 12 noon, not 7 PM as the title states [IMG]

    It's also not televised [IMG]

Sorry my bad about the time. Thanks for pointing that out, Wild.

It was a bad attempt at an April fool's joke, actually. [IMG]

Monta Ellis has been placed on the IR for the remainder of the season with torn hamstring suffered during yesterday's morning shoot around. Even if we do make the playoffs, I won't be able to battle with these guys on the court when it matters most. Its like all I worked for all year is worthless." Monta's hustle and quick slashes to the basket will be missed on a Golden State team that jacks up 3 pointers because they can't make layups in the paint or make free throws when they get fouled. Threes are the only way they can make up for all of their mistakes. 3 points are better than 2 points, but now the team can use all the points they can get with Ellis out for the season...</div>

Sad about Ellis..we really need him to for the last lik 100 games. His three point shooting is by far the best on the team too.

But you will need a torrent client and the game will probably be in Chinese. No joke, I had to watch the Warriors-Suns game in Chinese because my TiVo screwed up, it was wacky!

Looks like The Ticket 1050 AM is the only place you'll be able to get it live. Maybe if they lose no one will notice for lack of evidence.

Are you sure this is not a joke...Monta is playing today, and if you read it carefully, it doesn't sound journalistically sound at all.

Good news Warriors fan in/outside the Bay Area. I am listening to the game online on ticket 1050 right now...

And yes, Gohn, I am a chiropractic student not a journalism major and that is why it did not sound good, it was my April Fools Day joke....
