The Grizzlies apparently have someone who can bring the pain off the bench. And, yes, that’s a good thing. The Atlanta Hawks certainly got a dose of the impact veteran guard Tony Allen can have on the Grizzlies. Allen entered the Grizzlies’ 115-111 overtime victory Thursday night early in the third period of a preseason affair with the Hawks in Philips Arena. Until that point, the Griz had floundered on offense, were mistake-prone defensively and trailed by as many as 23 points.
