This will be a good matchup, IMO.</span> CelticBalla's Extra Thoughts/Notes I am unable to watch this game (I'm just making this thread because STAT was too busy). CelticBalla's Prediction There is no reason why Phoenix should lose this game. The difference in athleticism, speed, and talent level from Phoenix blows Memphis right out of the water. Memphis' #1 option right now, Mike Miller, wouldn't even start for Phoenix. No doubt Phoenix gets their 2nd win of the year, and starts a nice run of wins.
I can't watch the game since I am in Mexico but judging by the box score, Amare is having a very nice game and Diaw seems to have returned to form. The Suns really need this win.
Thanks for making this thread CB32. I was too busy earlier.I hope the Suns win this one. We need a win...
Suns just ran the Grizzlies out of the gym in the 2nd half. THe Grizzlies could do nothing offensively, and the Suns' ball movement was phenomenal. Amare finally coming on with a strong game. He's been muscling the ball in there, getting boards, and probably having his best night of the year.
I wasnt aware of his stat line, I just knew that he was doing very well. Good to see Amare have a game like this again.
And I'm unable to watch it. Seems like they played some good defense. Now I have to wait for 5-6 days until the next game... This makes me happy. Amare is doing much better than I expected. Diaw did better. Once we start hitting shots and playing better team defense we will be unstoppable. Stoudemire also had 2 blocks and a steal. All this in only 22 minutes. He'll get to rest up and get ready to do the same vs. Philly. Kurt didn't get much time today...it's better to let him sit I guess while we can so he'll be available int he playoofs
Can't wait to see the highlights of Amare. I love how people say he'll never be a 20/9 guy again, yet he has such a a monster game less than half a month into the season. By the ASG he will be back to 20/8 Amare at the very least.
This is the problem when your not a strong defensive team, Memphis is going on a run now, and Phoenix isn't closing this game out. Memphis is down by 11, which is alot better than how much Memphis was just loosing by.

Warricks just went to the line, it's now a nine point game, then Diaw turned the ball over. Nash, Diaw, Marion, Stoudemire, and Barbosa are in the game.
well the whole bench got minutes and Amare's been in the game 1 minute of the 4th so I'll jut blame it on them closing it out.
Well, this season, Memphis has been great in the 4th and Suns have been terrible in 4th. So I kindve saw this coming, 34 point deficit to 7 points is pretty damn good. Just shows Memphis is still very good defensively despite losing Battier.
The bench is why the Grizzlies came back into this game, but we still pulled it out. I only got to see the last 5 minutes of the fourth quarter, but Stoudemire was insane tonight. 25/14!? Amazing! This is the Amare we were waiting for!
If Amare played double the mintues he played tonight then we could of seen a 50 point 28 rebound game lolnah lol but it could happen one day when he's healthysooo great game by him and the rest of suns .. well they didnt play the best but amare sure did.
It was great to see Amare' back in top form and the Suns getting a great win over Memphis.... Let's hope this is the start of a turn-around now for them, and to get back on track!
