    Also noteworthy is:

Im surprised that the Nets would even think about this much less that they are interested for Rubio.

Hell, I'd send Outlaw, Blake, Sergio, Webster, Bayless, Batum and/or Przybilla and our 24th pick if it got us Harris.

Then we could sign David Lee.

Harris, Roy, Batum, Lee, and Oden.

    Sweet Jesus.

Devin Harris available? Oh please... get him!! And to think we could've had Harris/Bass for Jack, Frye, Outlaw and picks before. Get Harris at all costs outside the big 3, and KP will be a genius.

Oh fuck. Now we get a whole summer of people clamoring for Harris again.

A group of whom were opposed to trading Outlaw for him 2 years ago.

No worries BB. My annoyance comes more from seeing the same thing over and over with some fans. No way we trade Outlaw for Harris. Harris is unproven, etc. Trade gets made for Harris, and Harris blows up, and everyone complains about msising out on the deal, possibly, and how great Harris woudl be and what not.
No way I'd trade Outlaw for Conley. He's a bust, hasn't shown anything, rode Oden's coat tails, etc. Conley has a good second half last year, and now more and more pro-Conley posts come out.
Seems some have an inability to evaluate a prospect or talent, instead looking strictly at numbers. Well, Harris hasn't produced, so he probably won't. Oh wait, he's good. Conley hasn't produced, so he is a bust, oh wait, he looked good. As if the only way some would make a trade is to buy high, but while still thinking of the potential buy low price.

Good point. But I still have a lot of faith in Oden. This is one area I expect to see improvement from.

Harris for LMA is probably a fair deal from a talent for talent perspective, but I'd sure look for other ways to prise Harris loose other ways before I'd pull the trigger on that.

Wow, you really under estimate Aldridge and over estimate Harris.

Harris is good, but not even close to Aldridge good.

and the mismatches that Aldridge adds, while still only scratching the surface of his potential is downright scary. Harris is nice, but doesnt really offer a mismatch.

I agree that Oden will improve.. but Lee wont pull that 2nd defender away from Oden, like Aldridge would. LMA is a PERFECT compliment to Oden IMO. But liek Nik said, from a talent for talent perspective it makes most sense, but Aldridge means a hell of a lot more to us, and what we're trying to do.

I'm going to get shit for this. Channing Frye is not a terrible player. Certainly he's not the stats we see from last season. I still think, given the right circumstances, he could become a starter. Not the level that Aldridge will be (All Star). Channing was a good soldier last season. Given the minutes I think he'd prove to make the most of the opportunity and surprise us. Ok, Ed O, I'm ready to take your beat down. ;)

And this would be the worst-case scenario. Pritchard is a magician. Maybe he could pull another rabbit out of his hat (of the Josh Smith or Kevin Love variety).

    I want Harris!

I don't think so. Aldridge is and will be All Star talent. Same with Devin Harris. I think you're undervaluing Harris.

If Frye hits his jumper consistently, he's an asset to his team in spite of his utter lack of defense and rebounding and ability to get to the free throw line.

This past season, as I think we all know, he was TERRIBLE. The thing is that two years before, his last at NY, he was nearly as bad, and he played over twice as many minutes!

I think that blaming his piss-poor production on a dearth of minutes doesn't make sense, given his history with the Knicks being essentially duplicated with the Blazers (except worse production both years in Portland).

    Ed O.
