Final: Boston-93 Memphis-91 The officials were determined to see that Memphis would win this game; the Celtics were more determined to see that they wouldn't.....Celtics were right. Vin Baker leads all scorers with 24 points..........something about that statement just seems wrong.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Old Hoss:</div><div class="quote_post">The officials were determined to see that Memphis would win this game; . </div> That's the most biased statement I have ever heard. Only weak fans blame the reffs for their team's poor performances.
Baker plays like his old all star self and that is wrong? Show some love for his hard work, because you will only see more of this.
I 100 persent agree with you King James. In my opinion Baker played the best last night out of any celtic. Piece had way to many to.

But, there is no way the comeback was caused by the refs though

Obviously you didn't see this game but feel the need to tell me that I am weak. To make comments about me without seeing the game is WEAK. The officials got caught up in the revelry of the fans cheering on their team in the season opener........not the first time it has happened and won't be the last.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Baker plays like his old all star self and that is wrong? Show some love for his hard work, because you will only see more of this.</div> Calm down; I said the statement was wrong not the fact that Baker had 24 points.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BC:</div><div class="quote_post">I wouldn't call it a poor performance, they played great until Pierce fouled out. But, there is no way the comeback was caused by the refs though</div> WHAT? Pierce didn't foul out until there was 10.4 seconds left in the game. Boston had a 10 point lead with just over four minutes left in the game!! If anyone here actually WATCHED this game, they would have seen fouls #6 called on Blount and Pierce were a joke. What makes you people think officials don't make mistakes? Good God, look what the officials did to the New Orleans Saints last week....the NFL had to actually make an official apology to the team. Where is Olskool when I need him?
Its true. Whatch the tape if you can find it of Pierces las foul. He was standing still with his hands over his head and the guy just bumped into him and they called it. what else can you do to make sure you dont foul someone. He wasnt even going to defend him he was daring him to shoot. anything not to foul but i guess it wasnt enough. Refs dont win and lose ballgames but they can sure help and friday it looked like they were bending over backwards down the stretch to help the grizzlies
