    He'd be smarter to leave to a team that stands a chance at not choking in the playoffs. If he stays in Dallas, he'll never win a title. He should see about following LeBron.

    This likely isn't about Dirk wanting to leave the Mavs. It is about getting a monter extension grandfathered in before the new CBA.

    He has stated a ton of times before that he wants to end his carrier as a maverick . He just wants another max deal at the current rate instead of when max deals are 10 million.
