    Serious response? Seems like a settling of some sort, or an error. Was every chip like that or just that one? Id be willing to bet that somehow that's the seasoning meant for the whole can. Every time I have flavored Pringles, I almost wish they had more flavor in them. But that's American Pringles.

    Yes, every chip has a few millimeters of seasoning caked on BOTH sides. I didn't mention that before. I consulted another passenger on the flight who confirmed that her chips were also inedible.

    IIRC some years ago, perhaps 20, Doritos were haphazardly seasoned and you'd often get a couple of chips per bag that were heavily dusted. I think in the time between then and now their manufacturing process has ensured a negligible amount of seasoning breezes over every chip so as not to overwhelm the stale corn flavour. Glory days.
