Nah, the high crimes and/or misdemeanors, if any, will come out of Mueller's investigation. Incidents like this just establish that Trump will lie about anything and everything.
Most young children lie. Most of us learn, around age 5, that an adult will check so we either learn to 1) stop lying or 2) stop lying about things that can be easily checked. Makes you wonder.
His lies are checked by the media. Trump at this point is playing to his base. If he says one thing and the media says another, his base will believe him. He can literally shape reality for the roughly 20% of the voting population that is his, heart and mind.
