One reason for posting the srticle is that one probably won't find such an article in this country as all papers (with the possible exception of the WSJ) are so politically driven that we have to go overseas to get the real story.
mostly bullshit. mexico is as fucked as its portrayed. the rich are rich, the poor are poor. all monopolies and rich family money for generations and generations.
There have definitely been positive articles about Mexico recently in US Newspapers. Here's an opinion piece from by Thomas Friedman from February: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/24/opinion/sunday/friedman-how-mexico-got-back-in-the-game.html?_r=0 CNN reported Obama's trip to Mexico: http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/03/world/americas/mexico-obama-visit/index.html?hpt=po_t1 I have seen articles about the net losses in Mexican immigrants in recent years. People keep saying that everyone should learn Chinese, but with the emergence of Latin America, Spanish is still by far the best second language for Americans to learn.
