Pure speculation here, but curious whether Nurkic’s desire to potentially leave Portland has anything do with his fiancée maybe not enjoying the wet weather of the NW? He seems like a simp so maybe this is plausible. OTOH, I could be totally wrong and maybe she loves Portland.

I highly doubt the weather has anything to do with it, Nurk is probably just unhappy in his role and how he's being utilized here. He moped in Denver when he was on the bench behind Jokic, and I imagine he wants to be a bigger part of the team here. IMO I say lets make him the #2 or even #1 option and see how things progress, I think if he were utilized more (or better) we could have Nurk fever all over again. A lot of times folks just need a change and a new perspective and they can break out and harness all the potential they have in life, and hope that's all it is with Nurk. He seems to be the kind of person who plays with passion, and if he doesn't have passion then he's going to play like crap. Figure out what brings out the beast in him and lets help him find his potential, here, in Portland.

I liked Stotts as a person, and I felt like he was a decent coach, but it was definitely time for both Portland and coach Stotts to move on to new things in life and I think that is possibly what Nurk needs. Hope so!

I remember that joke I heard at my first marriage:

'after the wedding, every time your wife and you make love, put a bean in a jar. After your 2nd anniversary, every time your wife and you make love, take a bean out of the jar. You will never empty the jar'

truths can be found in jokes sometimes

    1. Marriage is for morons.
    2. Nurkic is a known moron.
    3. Therefore, Nurkic will get married.

In the year 2021 there are still men so ignorant they think sperm are seeds.

Seeds are embryos. The plant equivalent of sperm is pollen.

True. A seed would more closely approximate a fertilized egg.
