Lakers had them both in for a tryout. At first I laughed at the desperation and then I found myself wishing the Blazers would try out an aging big guy just to take a few minutes off the starters. So, who do you like…a broken down Cousins or an under-talented Meyers? https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/35447154/lakers-work-centers-meyers-leonard-demarcus-cousins
If Meyers hadn't stuck his foot in his mouth and wasn't slow as molasses and honestly, kind of a dipshit, i'd be ok with them bringing him in.
When your talking about the 15th man I'd take the one with less off the court baggage, immaturity, and drama. Crazy to think that means Cousins.
We paid Meyers enough that he should play here for free for the next decade but still....it's Hassan Whiteside or Ed Davis for me.
The thing is neither would play over Eubanks. So I guess we are talking about preparing for when one gets injured? I would just as well give Badji some run. I assume he would be a turnover machine at first but I bet he would be a better defender than either Boogie or Meyers.
Agreed, I'm playing Eubanks over both of those guys, so at that point, I'd there's major injuries, I'm ok with badji or just going small with Watford.
