    That's not a threat. It's a FACT based on the lockout putting the Dolphins' plans at quarterback on pause.

    Sure the Dolphins are exploring the majority of the draftable options, doing more homework on prospects like Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick and Christian Ponder better than they did on Pat White.

    But that doesn't mean this regime will pull the trigger and select a quarterback early in the 2011 draft.

    Think about it….do you REALLY think General Manager Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano, and ALL the front office officials, coaches and scouts have the time to develop a quarterback in this win or you're all done season?"
