Unlike previous regimes, The Dolphins, under Saban have; Won twice on the west coast late in the season and play well in the 2nd half.

Scratch off San Diego for the Wild Card Race. Kansas City would have had the lead but Lawrence Tynes missed the FG. Chris Chambers had a good game again but two TDs.

It would be sweet to consider the Dolphins a good team again, but I'm not sold yet. I still think the Dolphins have some real weaknesses and Gus Frerotte is not the answer at QB. There's still a lot of work to due. However, it is tempting to daydream about the Dolphins stealing the division title from the Patriots and shocking the world by ending the Colts perfect season in the playoffs. I can dream, can't I?

The Dolphins have been perfect ever since Nick Saban's words of encouragement. Too bad he didn't say it a couple of weeks earlier!

    LOL.

Whether you guys are sold or not, you have to admit that they have taken a big step forward and are a competitive team again. A west coast win....on the road.....in December. If it would have been a cold weather win too, you guys wouldn't have known what to do with yourself.

No one expected Miami to win 6 games this year. A lot of people seemed to have them at 5-11 or worse me included. Like Dale I'm not sold on them being a good team but they are def taking a huge stride in the right direction. Great too see Chambers playing well and I still crinch at the thought that he could be a Packer instead of Robert Ferguson.

Chris Chambers has been a real bright spark for theit offense, I know he aint the answer maybe but you gotta like their running back system.

Maybe this isn't the most talented team yet, but much like the 10-6 Cowboys of two years ago, a good coach can be good for a couple wins too. Saban knows how to do this job from both a coaching and talent evaluating perspective.

I agree Miami is not good yet but they are getting their sooner than most thought. Sean Salisbury said they'd be the worst and be luck to win 6.

    QB is still an issue.

See my post in thread about Draft order. It looks like Jay Cutler at Vandy will be Saban's pick - I hope.

Well they were a surprise at the beginning of the season IMO. They did beat the Panthers who beat the Patriots the week before. When they did that, I thought they'd make the playoffs.

Chambers is starting to make a name for himself. Thanks for your returning the favor for us beating the Pats for you. Sorry we couldn't capitalize on the San Diego loss. The Chargers finish with Indy, Us, then Denver. I still have hope. Glad to see the 'Phins pull one out.

If for nothing other than my personal satisfaction, I hope KC beats Denver again.

Personally, I could live w/ either KC or SD as the final playoff team in the AFC.

the Texans are under contract with Dom Davis hes got a huge one i dont think that the Texans will take Bush unless they want to be swamped with contract issues then they can trade down to the Jets who will take Bush yay everyones happy [IMG]

I don't think Davis contract matters. All speculation is if Houston has the #1 pick they'll either trade it or go with Bush... It's probably not whats best for the team but hey that's the way it goes sometimes.
