Who would win in a playoff game. MJ had the bulls to win it back2back, and the Heat have a dominate Shaq, and a very young Wade. Who would win?
Scottie Pippen and/or MJ wouldve done a good defensive job on Dwade, but they didnt have anybody who would be able to stop Shaq really....I say it would go down to game 7, MJ has the ball with 3 seconds left. does a crossover on Wade and banks the side shot...Bulls win.
I dont think the question is "who is going to stop wade and shaq?". The question is more "who is gonna stop MJ and Pippen?". Jordan was a GREAT defender and would have done a great job on Wade. Granted, Wade is an underrated defender, Jordan would have tore him a new one. Now who is gonna gaurd Pippen (also a great defender)? Nobody. Shaq would be a problem. But the Heat are no match.Bulls in 5
The Chicago Bulls. Jason Williams could match up against Ron Harper and neither would do anything in particulalry great. Jordan is much better than Wade. By 97-98 he was so experienced and he can play much harder defense on Wade than anyone on dallas did. Scotty Pippen is a much better player than antoine walker or james posey ever is. Dennis Rodman could definately shut down Haslem and I would expect him to help out on shaq with luc longley. I see oneal as miami's only option but even then the bulls have too much to handle. Toni Kukoc and Steve Kerr off the bench are huge x-factors.
The Bulls. the Mavericks didn't have anyone who could really matchup with Shaq and they contained him. the combination of Pippen/Jordan would have slowed Wade down big time, and Rodman would shut what little offense Haslem has completly down.
No contest here. Bulls in 5 (maybe 4). Wade showed good clutch performances but MJ is the best. He would also contain Wade more. If that didn't work PIP could guard wade. Shaq would be difficult but Longly like diop is a big body and would slow shaq. Drod would help out. This one isn't even close. Comparing one of the best alltime teams to Miami? A bit of a stretch!
With the new rules in the league I dunno how much even Jordan could stop Wade. But Jordan is Jordan, and Wade (though amazing) is still no Jordan.Shaq is still Shaq though (contained Shaq? Maybe by Shaq standards but let's remember, he DEFERRED to Wade. Sides, didn't he average 13 and 12 or something? Sounds good to me still...) so I'd have to say it goes to 7 games...Bulls in 7.
If BS calls wouldn't be given, the Bulls would win by 4-0 or 4-1. They had Dennis Rodman grabbing boards, MJ & Pippen scoring and Harper dishing out three's every now and then. Also, their defensive presence would be felt. The Heat would have to hope that Shaq wouldn't drop a career low of 7 or 9 points...
