Three days before the team's playoff game in Chicago against the Bears, Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch accepted the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach job at the University of Miami, an NFL source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Fisch will coach with the Seahawks throughout the playoffs, the source said.

At Miami, he will replace Mark Whipple, who spent two seasons with the Hurricanes. He was not retained by new Miami coach Al Golden.

The 34-year-old Fisch is a Florida graduate who spent nine of the past 10 years working in the NFL, including this season in Seattle. He has also worked in Houston, Baltimore and Denver, plus spent a season as offensive coordinator at the University of Minnesota.
