That's asking too much. Their scorers will have a hard time against Artest and one of the reasons why they won game 7 was the greater than usual game of Grant. He can't do that against JO and the other big men of the Pacers. If they do win against the Pacers, everybody will agree that it's a miracle. Besides, it's Miller time.
Indiana had a much deeper team, Miami may take 1 or two games but they can't compete in a 7 game series, it's not from luck that Indiana was the only team in the NBA to reach 60 wins add in the fact that Indiana has homecourt and it's pretty much done
Although it seems that the Heat are unbeatable at home, they can only steal maybe a game at their home.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting InNETSweTrust:</div><div class="quote_post">Although it seems that the Heat are unbeatable at home, they can only steal maybe a game at their home.</div> That's definitely true, I think they have a chance though to go through it. Very slim though, because again I'm thinking on the basis of "anything can happen." Any hope would be for J'O'Neal to play badly, along with Artest and Miller Time which is not very likely. Not to mention Wade being inconsistent away.
inexperience will hurt. remember, they have a rookie leading the show and young guys who are in their first playoffs this year. i think its not right to expect so much for a young talented team. anything additional should be taken as overacheiving instead of dissapointment. this is great experience for this team and they can only build on it for next year. maybe they will give the next a run for atlantic div. champs next yr and possibly being 4th best team in the east. heat very fun to watch. hope they take indy the distance and cause them problems b/c indy is walking right through to the east finals and i think they are a little too cocky about how good they are considering they havent done anything in the playoffs yet (sweeping boston is not a big deal). so hopefully miami will make indy sweat a bit.
^How has Indiana been cocky regarding the playoffs? The only attitude I see coming from them is when they are on the court and competing. Thats not a bad thing at all. Indiana has too deep a bench for Miami to contend with. Even if Artest or JO come out you have Harrington and Bender coming in for them. Miami is going to rely on their guard rotation heavily but I don't think it will matter. No one can matchup JO. Artest can guard anything in sight. Once Miami's bench comes on the floor there are going to be some good matchups that Indiana can take total advantage of. I would be surprised if Miami won 2 games this whole series.
LMAO @ this topic the Heat could barely beat a Hornets team without Jamal Mashburn, and a banged up Baron Davis... and got pushed to 7 games, enough said Heat are a joke, and will get swept or possibly win 1 game vs. the Pacers, either way sorry Heat fans. and btw, i'm a Blazers fan so i can talk about the Heat, considering we came into Miami and dominated.
I think the Heat can make an upset against the Pacers. The odds are stacked against them but there is hope. Maybe the young team just had to get accustomed to their playoff surroundings in the first round. Now that they won the first round, maybe they can relax and say they have nothing to lose. MY PREDICTIONS FOR EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS: MIAMI HEAT VS. DETROIT PISTONS
Realisticly they have no chance. But it would be nice to see the Heat push the Pacers to a 7th game like the 94 Nuggets did against Utah. But I say Pacers in 5.

If the Heat were a joke they wouldn't of got into the playoffs and advanced to the 2nd round. Your theory is messed up..You can talk about the Heat because you went into Miami and won? what has one regular season game got to do with talking about a team in the playoffs? Fact is the Blazers are watching the playoffs at home and have been for several weeks.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">Fact is the Blazers are watching the playoffs at home and have been for several weeks.</div> Harsh but true. lol.
I would say it would be to ask for to much yeah... they have gotten far this season, made a great improve, reached the second round in playoffs, might win 1 or 2 games against the best eastern team, but not win a seven game series. But, as I said, Miami have done a great season, they should be proud and happy!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kenny:</div><div class="quote_post">Name one person in the Heat that's gonna stop Jermaine O'neal.</div> No one's going to stop O'neal he'll stop himself if he keeps shooting like a SG when he's a PF-C. He shot 43.4% in the season and is shooting 44% in the playoffs, he really needs to stop showing us his new and improved range and mid-range jumper because against better teams it will be their downfall. He's also shooting 58% from the line in the playoffs, I don't know what JO is doing. The other thing is who will stop Odom and Wade, JO isn't near as quick as Odom and I don't think can keep up with him. Odom will also be able to draw him into the perimeter which will take away Indy's blocking presence. Tinsley can't hang with Wade, plain and simple, he can keep up but not hang. I don't think the Heat will win but I think we can take the first 2 home games, hopefully.
LOL @ sayin "well Portland didnt make playoffs" blah blah if they was in the East they would be 4th seed kid, lmao thats a dumb thing to say. they owned ur team twice this season, beat them then talk <font color="Red">EDIT</font>, kthxbye <font color="Red">Watch your language, swearing or person attacks are not allowed Allnet</font>

You also couldn't last 5 minutes in a debate with anyone here so I would be quiet If I were you. And no Portland didn't own my team at all infact Portland got swept by my team. Having a Wade sig doesn't make me a Heat fan. Miami actually had a better record than Portland, what they did is by far more amazing considering they are a very young team that started off 0-7 with a new coach.

The fact of the matter is the Blazers didn't make the playoffs pure and simple. Most Western Confrence teams that didn't make the playoffs would be in the playoffs in the east not just the Blazers. Do you want a cookie that your team would make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference?
