    PG: West
    SG: Finley
    SF: Pietrus
    PF: Martin
    C: Leonard

That bench, while old, would destroy our current one... If Meyers Leonard could somehow play against himself.

I don't even think you'd need to go that far... Adding Finley and Pietrus would drastically change our bench. Price, Finley, Pietrus, and Jeffries are plenty good.

I loved Finley's game back in the 90's I remember when he was rumored to be traded to Portland a couple times.

Why do some of you want a bench that will only help in losing us draft slots?

...because they so desperately want to have another first round exit!

Because we don't want to see all our starters go down with injuries because Stotts literally can't stomach playing any of our current bench players.

Well, I don't think he really moves the needle. I just think he'd be a good vet to bring in to mentor our young guys, and hopefully he can log a few minutes so our starters don't break down halfway through the season.

I just wish I knew if Stotts thinks some of our bench players WILL contribute and is just taking the long view or if he's really written them off. If it's the former, then I can stand front office inaction. If it's the latter, then I really wish we'd have a trade or sign someone.

But then again, right now I can't see anyone taking our bench players, and certainly not Babbitt and Nolan, the ones I'm most keen to see go.

I think Freeland can play. I know his stats don't back it up, but I don't think he's gotten enough burn to really show if he can or not.

    This.

He has played some substantial shifts where he has done absolutely nothing. From where I stand, he's our worst player. I guess he can only improve.

I'm still not sold that our 6-15 can beat our Idaho team. Ben @ BlazersEdge says he thinks the bench would win, but "it wouldn't be a blowout"

Well, tbh, "absolutely nothing" is better than "starting 3 fastbreaks for the other team in 4 possessions."

Freeland gets fouls freely, so he's never free to show what he can do.
