The Wolverines (4-0) took control of the game when they held the Wolfpack (3-1) without a field goal for nearly 10 minutes in the second half.

Michigan reserve Dion Harris scored 14 points. Bernard Robinson and Lester Abram each had 10 points.

Julius Hodge led N.C. State with 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Scooter Sherrill added 14 points.

Despite winning their first three games, the Wolfpack fell out of The Associated Press poll after being ranked 25th last week.</div>Michigan looked good all throughout this game. I believe that beating a N.C. State team that was just outside of the rankings will launch Michigan into the top twenty-five. Their very deserving of it too. They are overlooked by many people because last year they were banned from the NCAA tournament, that season they started off 0-6, and not much noise has been made about their top ten recruiting class which include Courntey Sims, Brent Pettway, Dion Harris.

Out of all the performances I saw tonight, Dion Harris' impressed me the most. He came off the bench to score fourteen points and show all of his toughest critics the Mr.Michigan Basketball award he won was no fluke.

    Interesting Fact:
This was coach Tommy Amaker's one-hundreth career win.
