Michigan State will play one of the toughest schedules in NCAA history this upcoming season. The Spartans' team is ranked number two in the country by ESPN. This is what their schedule looks like - Ranked Teams - Duke (top 5) Kansas (top 5) Kentucky (top 10) Oklahoma (top 10 or 15) Syracuse (top 10 or 15) UCLA (top 15 or 25) Ohio State (top 15) - They play twice. Indiana (top 15 or 25) - They play twice. Illinois (top 10 to 25) - They play twice. Michigan (top 15 or 25) - They play twice. Wisonsin (top 15 or 20) - They play twice. Minnesota (top 25) - They play twice. Other Great Opponents - DePaul Indiana State Purdue - They play twice. Iowa - They play twice.
Well I guess this schedule will really prove if they belong at the top five in the country with their rather young team. Who has the toughest schedule and where is Arizona?

You said Mich St was ranked number two. I was asking who was ranked number one and where Arizona is ranked on the toughest schedules list.

I will go re-word it. Their schedule should be the toughest. And I went to Arizona's website and I couldn't find their schedule. I do not think it has been completed yet.
Zona's Schedule Northern Arizona Florida St. Louis Texas Marquette St. Marys San Diego State Fiesta Bowl Classic (Zona, Lousiana-Layfayette, Valpo, TBA) Zona St. Cal Stanford USC UCLA Oregon Oregon st. Washington Washington St. Cal Stanford USC UCLA Oregon Oregon St. Wash Wash St. Zona St.
After looking at those schedules, Arizona's is by far easier than Michigan State's. I think Michican State schedule is a bit to hard, no matter how good they are.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Raptors21:</div><div class="quote_post">Duke is gonna kill M. State.</div> That?s it? Just, "Duke is gonna kill M. State."? Come on; give some reasons why you believe that Duke will kill "M. State". The odds are that Michigan State will win that game. Here is why I think that Michigan State will win the game. First of all, the game will be held in the Breslin Center where Michigan State hasn't lost more than five games in five years. Also, Michigan State's number one backcourt will be too much for Duke to handle. Here are the compared matchups - PG - Chris Duhon, Patrick Davidson, Andy Borman, Sean Dockery vs. Chris Hill, Brandon Cotton, Maurice Ager, Rashi Johnson WINNER: Michigan State PG Reason: Chris Duhon and Chris Hill are about equal. They have the same kind of game, the same statistics, and the same amount of talent. The place where Duke loses greatly is on the bench. Duke just has a couple of scrubs and Sean Dockery. Michigan State has a High School All-American, one of the 5 best players in the U-19 World Games, and a Junior College All-American who recently transferred. SG - J.J. Reddick, Daniel Ewing, Andy Means vs. Kelvin Torbert, Shannon Brown, Tim Bograkos WINNER: Michigan State SG Reason: Before I compare the Shooting Guards let me say that J.J. Reddick might not play next season, none the less the game against Michigan State, but I will assume that he will play anyway. Either way Michigan State wins the starting Shooting Guard battle. Torbert, the former HS Player of the Year, is coming back from surgery that will change his career for the better. Ever since his Freshman year at Michigan State Torbert has been injured and thus ineffective, but after this surgery he should be back to his High School form. Then on the bench Michigan State has the number one High School player in the country that is going to college in Shannon Brown. They also have one of the top five, if not the best, walk-ons in the nation in Tim Bograkos. You can think Bograkos is as harmless as you want him to be, but last year Bograkos was put in the game with one minute left at Kentucky. Michigan State was down by one and Bograkos hit a three pointer. He then stole the ball on the other end and won the game for Michigan State. Ewing and Means can't compare to that. SF - Shavlik Randolph, Luol Deng, Lee Melchionni vs. Alan Anderson, Matt Trannon, Delco Rowley WINNER: Duke SF Reason: The only reason Duke wins here is Luol Deng. He gave them a very slight advantage. I believe that Anderson is a better player not only statistically, but talent wise too. However, Rowley and Trannon aren't near as good as Deng and Melchionni are. PF - Shelden Williams, Nick Horvath vs. Paul Davis, Adam Wolfe, Anthony Hamo WINNER: Michigan State PF Reason: Davis is a lot better than Williams in every category. They can't even be compared in my opinion. Not only is Davis more talented, he is also about four inches taller and about fifty pounds heavier. On the bench neither team has much to boast about. C - Michael Thompson, Patrick Johnson vs. Jason Andreas, Brian Westrick WINNER: Too hard to tell Reason: Both Duke and Michigan State are starting players who have never played more than fifteen minutes in a game at Center. They are both weak here and it is just too hard to pick a winner. Arizona's schedule is okay. It's nothing to get excited about, but it is still a quality schedule.
