This has been a high-scoring affair so far as UNC leads 21-18 w/ 11 minutes left in the first half.

 

It never fails to amaze me how ACC teams get calls their way against the Big 10, and then when Big 10 team gets fouled blatantly 2 feet from a ref, no cal. Go Sparty

 

Wow, the refs are letting UNC do whatever they want out there!

 

I've stopped rooting for my bracket (with exception to my Final 4 picks).

Man, I've seen Neitzel measure his shot like that too many times LOL. He's a stud

28-26 UNC, Brandon Wright had a pretty nice follow dunk off his own miss. The guy's length and athleticism is just ridiculous

Another AWFUL call - Morgan gets a rebound, is fouled, and puts it back, but they call the foul on the floor he was fould as he was shooting, no doubt about it. This sucks.

ONCE AGAIN! Morgan just got mugged cutting down the lane by THREE GUYS! NO CALL! WTF IS THIS?

And have you noticed, as soon as an MSU player TOUCHES a UNC guy, whistle. I may have never seen a more obvious case of one team getting ALL the calls and the other just getting fucking screwed. This is disgusting.

 

Yea, I was thinking the same thing as you guys. The refs are ruining a very good matchup.

 

UNC leads 41-33 at the half...

MSU is hanging in their despite a very poorly officiated game in UNC's favor. Someone other than Neitzel or Morgan has to step up on the offensive end...and they need to find an answer for Hansbrough on the defensive end...

Well, as you can see, the Spartans haven't been battling the Heels as much as they have been the refs. Morgan made some nice moves to get looks, but couldn't convert them. Neitzel appears to be up to the challenge of Lawson. Both are playing well.

The inside game will be big in the 2nd half. Sparty need to stop Hansbrough from muscling the ball in from close. It's always tough to watch UNC - if I didn't hate them so, I would absolutely love Psycho T. The kid is just a joy to watch on both ends.

@ enberg and bilas - 'MSU's foul trouble is really hurting them. They can't keep picking up these calls, they've got 5 in the 1st half to UNCs' 1'

UM, HOW ABOUT MAKING NOTE OF THE GODAWFUL OFFICIATING, not criticizing a team for getting f'd in the a! nice to see we've got objective commentators, too
