<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Suns still didn?t have all their pistons firing Monday, but it doesn?t take a purring engine to outlast an opponent whose season is already up on cinder blocks.

Phoenix isn?t going to find its missing mojo while whipping up on the Memphis Grizzlies, which the Suns dutifully did by a 105-87 margin in front of a US Airways Center crowd that was rarely louder than all the street construction going on around the building.

But getting 29 points from Raja Bell and 27 points and 12 rebounds from Amar? Stoudemire ? the duo combined to hit 23 of 33 shots ? is a good start. There was still a sloppiness factor (16 turnovers, with all eight participating Suns having at least one in the first half), and only four players reached double figures, but 27 assists and 55 percent shooting from the field were positive signs.

?We did the job. We weren?t great, but we won,? said Suns guard Steve Nash, who had 11 points and nine assists. ?Anytime you win by 20 points, it?s hard to really complain. So I think we took care of our end of the deal.?

Bell, who came within two points of his career high, played 40 minutes for the first time since the double-overtime win over the Mavericks. Even in the second of back-to-back games and with the game in hand, Phoenix coach Mike D?Antoni left his starters on the floor to the end.

?We?re not tired, we?re just out of sync,? D?Antoni said. ?We have to get back in sync and get our aura up. I don?t know what it is, but everyone seems down. We?re flat, and the whole building is flat and we?re not doing anything to change it.

?If we?re that way when Dallas comes in here Sunday, we?re in trouble.?

But on this night, there was no sign of the Mavericks, and the Suns were sparring with the NBA?s version of Peter McNeely. The Grizzlies have lost 12 of their past 14 and have sprinted away with the league?s worst record. They have lost 30 of 35 road games this season, and right now, the only thing keeping them from adding Greg Oden or Kevin Durant over the summer are a few fickle ping-pong balls.</div>
