What's up with Mike Conley? He showed flashes last year and this season he's been nothing short of disappointing. One thing that sticks out, from my point of view, is he cannot finish at the rim! It's exactly what annoyed me about Sebastian Telfair. He has good quickness and court vision, he's young, he has at least that going for him. 0 pts 2 ast 0-6 fg (24 min.) 4 pts 4 ast. 2-6 fg (20 min.) 10 pts 6 ast. 4-7 fg (32 min.) 4 pts 6 ast. 1-3 fg (17 min.) 3 pts 7 ast. 1-6 fg (29 min.) 6 pts 2 ast. 2-5 fg (18 min.)
Conley's biggest weakness is the same as Sergio's - he doesn't have a reliable jump shot. So, opposing defenses just sag off him, play the passing lanes, deny the penetration and DARE him to shoot. He's much more athletic than Telfair. He SHOULD be able to finish (ala Bayless). BNM
I agree he is doing great, but he could be the best 1 the team has to offer. I think he could play both positions quite well, ala a Gilbert Arenas type
hells yes. Look for them to add a passable 2 guard in the not too distant future and make him at least a combo guard dude is good... I'm with him thinking his best pro position is the 1 though STOMP
ANY THINK WE SHOULD TRADE FOR RAMON SESSIONS? http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4333 Bucks don't even start him, sad.
Nate really like Sessions last year before the draft - but then the entire Rudy Fernandez thing happened...
