    I'd give him 4.5 mill per.. around that range give or take a million.

    He'll be too expensive, we need to look to other options. I like Mike, but I don't consider him out future at PG, and if we sign him he'll have to get some considerable amount of money. I mean however you twist it, the guy is averaging 17 PPG and 5 APG on some impressive efficiency.

    Man .. I just can't sleep at night peacfully after giving him 6 Mills/Yr for 4+ years. It's just too risky.

    i wish i had your life if the only thing that keeps u awake is the thought of mike james getting a mega contract. mike james reminds me of alvin williams, all the heart in the world but no brains to go along with it.

    It's a tough call.. Mike James is such a gutsy player and he just seems like a good leader for all of the young guys.. But he can't be the long-term solution at PG.. I think I'd give Mike James 3 years at the MLE..

    It's a tough call.. Good thing Bryan Colangelo's gonna be making decisions now.. Phoenix has been quite shrewd in finding talent that fits their system at good prices.. They have yet to overpay anyone on the team.. And I'm only talking about these past few years.. But of course that means we need a new coach with an actual system.. I think Sam's a good motivator but his X&O's are crap-ass.. Maybe he can just follow the Phoenix blueprint.. Why not? Let's bring over a good EuroLeague coach..

    Well you have to sign him anyway even if you're gonna let him go, can't just let a player with a breakout year walk away. Gotta do a sign and trade at least.
