The pitcher with the perfect game ended the franchise-record run of shutouts.

Matt Cain took the mound for his first home start since tossing his gem June 13, and with one pitch his chances of throwing the Giants' fifth consecutive shutout were gone.

Mike Leake pitched a nine-hitter for his first career complete game and homered off Cain, and the Cincinnati Reds beat San Francisco 5-1 on Friday night.
