Maryland has hired former New Mexico coach Mike Locksley as its offensive coordinator, the school announced on Thursday.

Locksley, who was fired by New Mexico four games into this season after winning just two games over three years, will replace Gary Crowton, who was demoted to a temporary administrative position. Locksley previously worked at Maryland as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
