Ervin Santana got plenty of offensive help from his teammates and a little extra help from some sloppy defense by the Indians on a night when Roberto Hernandez could have used all the assistance he could get in his long-awaited return to the Cleveland rotation. Mike Trout and Chris Iannetta homered for the Angels, and Santana breezed to an 8-4 victory over the Indians on Wednesday night. The right-hander allowed a run and four hits in seven innings, struck out four, and walked one.
